Have u missed me?!!

Hiya guys & girls!

I’ve not been blogging for a few months now, i was suffering very badly with my gallstones. But i’m pleased to say that i had my gallbladder removed on March 9th…YAY!!!!!

I have kept weighing in with buddyslim despite my weight staying EXACTLY the same throughout  my illness, but im on the road to recovery & back on the diet!

I also got married on Valentines day (14th Feb), tried to add pics but it wont let me   : (

I’m a very poorly slimmer : (

I havent written a blog for a few months, have been in & out of hospital since November.

They say i have gallstones….trust me guys, this is the worst pain i have ever experienced in my entire life! When i get an ‘attack’ i get rushed to hospital, pumped full of morphine, knocked out  on gas & air & jabbed with an anti sickness injection. NO FUN AT ALL!!

So in short im now set to wait 6-8 weeks for the surgery to remove my entire gallbladder. I cant eat hardly anything without setting off an attack,  i have to be fat, spice & dairy free! So my diet  now consitsts of the following:

Breakfast: 1 small banana & 1 slice of dry brown toast.

Lunch:       2 slices of dry brown toast

Tea:           2 slices of dry brown toast & 1 small ( single serving size) tin of baked beans.

A very plain bland diet!! Its all my stomach can handle at the minute so the weight is falling off, last week i lost 6 lbs. I know that after my surgery i may put some of it back on but al i care about at the moment is getting my insides healthy & pain free!

Im praying for a miracle.

Ok so last week i told you all that im getting married in Feb 2009, well my dress arrived yesterday (i bought it online)

 IT DOSENT FIT AT ALL!

 I knew it would be small as i purposly bought it that way but the zip doesnt do up at all! So i am now gonna go to the gym every single day!

I reckon i have about 35-42lbs to lose before it will fit, do you think i have enough time?

 My friends Mum is a dressmaker so can alter the dress for me, but i want to fit into it the way it already is!

I’m getting married!!

Yep lil old me getting married!! We’ve booked for Feb 09…i need to lose about 3 stone by then…lets hope i can do it!

Am buying the dress but think i’ll be needing lots of alterations nearer to the time!

Lets talk BONES!!!

In recent weeks i’ve been experiencing mild to severe pains in my bones…mainly my hips, pelvis & middle back. I know its not muscular as i have in the past pulled a muscle in my back through my job……i know thats a different kinda pain!

 Went to my dietician yesterday & mentioned it, she talked through my diet & said im not getting anywhere near enough CALCIUM in my diet, advised me to drink at least a pint of milk a day….YUCKKKK! I HATE milk so have decided to pop down to the pharmacy to get some calcium pills!

Has any one else had bad bones whilst dieting?

I’ve taken the plunge!

In a previous blog i said how i wanted to go swimming…well I DONE IT…..TWICE!!!!

 Thought seen as i have now lost bang on 6 stone  (84lbs for my non UK friends!) i would be brave & just do it!

Was shi**ing myself on the way there with my Fiance Chris. But  i got there, got changed & then VERY quickly walked to the poolside & got in!! I ACTUALLY DONE IT!! huge step as you all know how scary getting into a swimming costume is!!

I done really well, around 34 lengths in an hour…i though that was good any way seen as im not a hugely strong swimmer!

Only trouble is it gives me severe stomach ache once i get home, so bad that i had to go to bed, then today when i went i felt exremly nauseous once i got out of the pool….is this normal, any one else experienced this? maybe its just coincidence that it happened after i’d been swimming…any advice welcomed guys & girls!! xx

Any tips on how i can lose my ‘back fat’!??

So iv bought my dress that i’ll be wearing for Xmas this year, i purposly bought it too small so that i would have an aim for my diet!

I can get it on but not do it all the way up at the back…my back is too fat! I need some exercise tips that will help me lose weight overall but target my flabby back…any ideas guys & girls? xx

Time to get going again!

Right! In a previous post i mentioned being ill, well now im over it all, finally fighting fit again so today will be my 1st day back at the gym! I know its silly but i feel nervous, i just know i’ve got outta my routine so will be back to being out of breath & sweaty!

 I also want to try swimming, but even now i dont have the confidence, i have an aweful body for someone of  my age (24) i know that swimming is great exercise & really want to give it a go!

Any one in EXETER UK fancy swimming with me??????

My big confession!

So iv been on thi sdiet sinec Jan 08, doing very well if i may say so myself! I live with my fiance Chris, i never told him what my start weight was as i was just so ashamed that i let my self get to 20 stone 7lbs (287lb). 9 months on & 5 stone 10lbs (80lbs) lighter i finally decided to tell him what my start weight was & what i weigh now, he was very shocked & a little speachless…..understandably! But he stopped me in the street (where we were wehen i told him!) gave me a hug & told me just how proud he was of me & how well im doing. i almost had a tear in my eye, he isnt normally the type to do things like that!

Then today when i hopped on the scales i was over the moon with my 4lb weight loss! YAY!!
